Going Deeper Into What's Really Underneath Many of the struggles people come to me with — chronic stress, anxiety, emotional overwhelm, or ongoing tension in the body — aren't random. They're often connected to experiences in childhood that were overwhelming or emotionally unsafe at the time. This is what I refer to here as childhood trauma. In order to cope, the nervous system went into survival — and those survival responses became stored patterns that the body still holds onto today. When the underlying patterns aren't addressed, those symptoms tend to return. This is why my work focuses on going deeper. These experiences don't disappear with time. They live on as survival responses in the nervous system And when those patterns are gently worked with, the nervous system can begin to settle.
