SAFETY Safety is an integral part in everything that we do here in PJPAC, it constituted in the whole operation of this venue, if safety is neglected than accidents is to be expected. We will not tolerate any act of defiance regarding safety. Proper risk assessment must be carried out to determine the safety aspect of the works planned. Misconduct or misbehaved personnel will be escorted out by security. 1. Please ensure that all documents and submission has been done in order for bump - in/load - in. a) Venue/Area of installation b) List of personnel details. c) Vehicle type and registration d) List of equipment and work description 2. All personnel must dress appropriately according to the task th at they undertake. 3. All workers or participating perso nne l must be of legal standings with no existing criminal record. 4. All work space are to be clean and cleared of hazardous material that could pose as a potential accident. 5. Any or all works that involves, a) Welding b) Cutting of hazardous material i.e. metal, epoxy or asbestos is prohibited c) Corrosive or combustive paint or fluid i.e. acid, petrol, ether is prohibited 6. Workers and riggers are to be equipped in proper PPE (Personal Protection E quipment) while caring out their duties. Safety shoes and gloves is compulsory. If there is works being carried out overstage, all personnel on stage must put on their hard hats. 7. No food or beverages are allowed on the stage or its surrounding area, 8. The theatre and its surroundings are classified as a non - smoking zone. 9. All push - on sets are to be installed with PU wheels or any other method that should cau se NO damage to the stage floor. 10. Equipment that leaks, condensate or bleeds fluids, will be removed from the stage immediately and damage assessment will be carried out , resulting to compensation. 11. All staging and height access equipment are to be operated by competent personal under supervision of PJPAC tech. 12. Works that are carried out at height above 2 meters. a) Personnel m ust adorn proper fall arrest body harness. b) Scaffo lding or ladder must be assembled following safety methods and standards c) All personnel must decent from height before equipment is relocated. d) All potential falling objects, debris or tools are to be properly and securely fastened and stored when working a t height. 13. All fly and rigging equipment i.e. wire ropes, fittings, turn buckle, shackles and termination are to be rated and stamped. 14. Working on Grid. a) Personnel working on Grid level must be competent and alert. b) All objects that could potentially fall must be removed and place at a safe allocated space. c) All equipment for installation (hoist and fixings) must be place on a board provided to avoid it from falling through the grid and eventually the stage. d) Rigging points other than the allocated points are to be discussed with PJPAC tech before being carried out. 15. Ethics ,E tiquette a) Personnel found to be intoxicated or under the inf luence of prohibited substance will be penalized b) P ersonnel found with contraband will be penalized. c) No loitering or inappropriate behavior will be tolerated, i.e. Brawling/fighting or endangering other personnel. 16. All loading and unloading should be done safely and carefully, load should not exceed the stated cap acity of weight and size, ensure that the lifts are not damaged during this process. 17. PRODUCTION BUMP - IN & BUMP OUT a) In - Bound production must provide a list of equipment and technical drawings for sets or contraption that will be used for their performance. b) All equipment belonging to in bound production are to be dis as sembled and dismantled in a n orderly manner. c) The stage and its surrounding to be cleared of all production items and area cleaned. d) Any damage to the house equipment, house fixtures are to be put to right by in bound production. e) The in - bound production is required to repaint the stage floor after use. f) All equipment belonging to PJPAC are to be inspected, inventoried and return ed to PJPAC. Damaged equipment are to be replaced by in - bou nd production company after assessment
