Swollen Lymph Nodes in Sarcoidosis Causes, Symptoms, and Treatment

Swollen lymph nodes are a common symptom of sarcoidosis, particularly when the disease involves the lungs. Sarcoidosis is an inflammatory condition in which clusters of immune cells, known as granulomas, form in various organs and tissues throughout the body. When these granulomas develop within the lymph nodes, they can cause the nodes to enlarge, resulting in swelling and, in some cases, additional symptoms.
